7 Local Farmer's Markets (Near Our Furnished Condos)

Thank goodness it's that time of year again.  The sun is shining and temperatures are warming here in the northwest.  Local farmer's markets throughout Seattle and the Eastside are preparing for the season's openings.   After a long winter, what better way to replenish our health and restore some vigor than with freshly harvested fruits and vegetables?

During your short term stay with Between Moves, you can take advantage of our fully stocked kitchens by bringing home some locally grown goodness from a neighborhood market.

Below is a list of farmer's markets that are closest to our Bellevue, Redmond, Newcastle, and Kirkland furnished condos (most within walking distance).

  • Juanita Friday Market: located at Juanita Beach Park, 9703 N.E. Juanita Drive, begins for the 2013 season, on May 10th, every Friday from 3-7 p.m. through October 4th.
  • Redmond Saturday Market: located on the corner of Leary Way & Bear Creek parkway, runs from May 4, through October 2013, every Saturday from 9 to 3 p.m.
  • Kirkland Wednesday Market:  located at Marina Park, runs every Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. from June 5th until September 5th, 2013.
  • Bellevue Thursday Farmer's Market:  located at the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue,  1717 Bellevue Way NE, runs May 16 - October 10, 2013 every Thursdays, 3-7 p.m.
  • Bellevue Saturday Farmer's Market:  located at the First Congregational Church, 752 108th Avenue NE runs June 8 - November 23, 2013 on Saturdays from 10 to 3 p.m.
  • Crossroads Bellevue Tuesday Farmer's Market:  located in the southeast parking lot at 15600 NE 8th St, runs every Tuesday from 12-6:30 p.m. from May 29th through October 2nd.
  • Newcastle Open Air Market:  Seasonal locally sourced fruit & produce, located at 13013 Newcastle Way, M-F 9-7 p.m., Sa & Su 9-6 p.m.
